Meet Our Administrator

Peggy Smith

I am honored to serve the Lord as the Administrator of this school.  I have been a part of ACS for 14 years first as a teacher and now as the administrator. My staff and I are passionate about providing "Personalized Christian Education" to the children and families of Ames and the surrounding communities.

I received by B.S. from Iowa State University and have 30 years of experience in education.  I have taught kindergarten through sixth grade classrooms.  I served on an administrative team as Curriculum and Education Director. The past two years I have served as the Administrator of Ames Christian.

 I have been married to my devoted husband, Mac, since 1973.  He taught and coached for 30 years before taking early retirement.  He now sells Real Estate full time.  We have three married children: Kent Smith, Lindsay Mann, and Kelsey Williamson, and three grandsons: Carter, Grady,and Grant.
